i totally agree with everyone else here.NO chiro til an MRI gets done.you just HAVE TO actually know what it is you are really dealing with first before even thinking of going that route.there are just way too many possible problems he could have that could be made much much worse with any type of chiro adjustments.you just need to know whats going on.the doc should have also given him some sort of dose of prednisone along with the vicodin in order to reduce the inflammation.this worked amazingly well for my hubby when he had the same thing happen your hubby did.he felt better in just a couple days with the pred included.even a medrol dosepack would have been helpful to a certain degree.consideringhis current symptoms,he just really neeRAB that MRI before anything else is done.once that gets done,his doc will choose the next step for him.PT or a good ortho sugeon would be good choices depending upon what actually shows on the MRI.hopefully this isn't a huge problem.he really could benefit from the addition of a temporary steriod to help reduce the underlying inflammation tho.i wish you and him luck.please keep us posted.marcia
