htc Tattoo hero & other Branded Orange problem in unlocking (Solved hero & Tattoo)

I have the same problem, did anyone try the firmware flash and get it to work? or is it a pointless excercise?

Not work error Id client this is an Orange branded so any other solution.

successfully unlocked htc tattoo orange,actually orange ddnt made special security on there brand phone's ,its a bug in firmware just update it and u can use your unlocking code on it.

just put your serial number back from your phone SN

and download update firmware.

Official website wont allow cross rom or vise versa rom download.

You will need gold card, in order to flash different carrier rom or downgrade.

To de-brand a phone, first you need to gain root access.

Flash a modified recovery image into phone.

Now Flash HSPL

Now flash with any brand or generic rom.

I ll give you a prepared reply maybe tonight.

i have tested only Htc Hero orange uk, not tattoo.




Im in wrong thread or thread tittle should be change to htc Tattoo hero problem in unlocking (Solved only htc hero) as same problem was in Htc Hero orange uk, after upgrade to rom Version : 2.73.61.66 htc hero orange uk unlock code accepted & problem solved.
