I would like to get to the bottom of this:
Should we or should we not be adding proxy to the connection settings?
I am on the verge of re-flashign my AKU just to find out.
So far we know that if you put the proxy settings there--they stick, no matter what, until a hard reset is performed.
Right now, I am able to connect with the proxy entered in the connection settings. I am able to browse anywhere and send and receive MMS without incident. However, Palm Threaded MMS (which is awesome, BTW: PPCGeeks) would not send or receive picture messages. It would fail every time.
Also, which Cricket plan should Apache/6700 users be on? Officially, I think that users have been on the $50 "Cricket Connect" plan (which I am currently on). But wasn't it proven that you can use any plan that offered picture messaging (MMS) and have WAP working?
I'd like to get some feedback before I start re-burning my AKU.
