how would you set different ringtones for sms text for different...

...contacts?..blackberry curve sprint 8530? i have set each contact sms texting alert a different ringtone...
but the only problem is ..is that when i get a message it still plays the default ringtones... instead of the ringtone i assigned to the contacts message alerts....
can somone help me please!..id apprreciate it alot thanks!!! <3
