How was your laser eye surgery experience?

I am looking into the possibility of getting laser eye surgery. I went for a consultation at the Assil Eye Institute a couple of years ago, but I decided to wait. I am thinking about getting it in a couple of months.

What was your experience like?
Was is painful or just uncomfortable?
Are you happy with your decision?
Any advice?
