I don't mind traversing the basement stairs once or twice a day

something down or up anyway, I have a second fridge down there. and I
check my boiler, well, dehumidifier, and water softener. I also have
shelving there that I use to store canned goods, paper products,
cleaning products, etc. I have a lot of tools there and all my house
paints and supplies, including step ladders. I prefer the cat pans in
the basement, visiters don't believe I have cats, my cats usually hide
when strangers arrive, but there is no litter pan smell in my house,
also because I clean those three pans at least once a day, usually
twice. I much prefer cats to dogs; dogs smell, especially when wet
and on humid days, when guests arrive dogs have to lick and slobber on
them, and force oral sex on them, and then once they get to know you
the male dogs gotta get intimate and hump their legs. Cats don't do
any of those disgusting things, cats are well mannered.
