How to tune amp for kicker l7 15?

hello everyone...i installed a 1 kicker l7 15in. with a kicker zx1000 amp. I also have a great pioneer flip out dash with all these tuning capabilities. Im not familiar with what frequency i should set my sub in the dash nor do i know what to tune the 3 knobs "gain" "boost" and "freq" on the amp. i broke the sub in so i should be able to wale it. what setting should i set for optimal sound. thanks ahead.
 
gain is most important knob of them all really....all you have to do is turn yer music on to a good tuning sound....for example if yer radio goes up to 40 then go to like 25-30 or wherever it sounds the best but not too loud..

Play with the gain knob and set it where the subs have no distortion or anything...then you can mess with the boost and freq and set them to where it sounds good.
