I am buying a new sound system about 15-20 times louder then mine at the moment. My bass is clear, only when it goes loud my rear view mirror starts shaking and makes an annoying rattle sound which interrupts my clean bass. I need to strengthen my mirror so that it doesn't shake, suggestions?
eric b your a tool who would ever give that answer...get some friends.

It's going to shake, if you have a loud system, your never going to be able to see effectively out of the mirror, just get used to that now...

If its making a lot of noise though, that needs to be tightened up. If it has screws, tighten them. The only screw I've ever seen on a mirror though is the one that holds it to the glass, so if the rest of it is making a rattling noise, you may need to get a new mirror. Check the junkyard first, no sense paying full price for something as simple as a mirror...

15 to 20 times huh, a person talking is 60 decibels, so ur system is gonna be roughly 900 decibels..............?, but to answer the question, there r usually 2 screws underneath the mirror and if tightened it will minimize it......
