How to set timing on a kawasaki prairie 300 2002?

My kawasaki prairie 300 keeps poping through the carb at idol. Runs great at high speed and normal driving. When I let off of the accelerator it pops out of the exhaust. Carb was cleaned and adjusted to correct setting. New spark plug air cleaner is fine. I am not sure if this is a valve issue are a timing issue. Please help
Why would it idol fine and run fine . But it only pops through the carb at idol speed. The carb was just cleaned.
 
Unless you change the the main ignition unit the timing is non adjustable. If this problem came up AFTER you cleaned the carb then I suggest that there is still debris in the carb or jetting or passage ways
