How to make the cruise control work in any gear, instead of 5th gear (O/D) only -

for my 1994 Kawasaki XII 120? I have a 1994 Kawasaki Voyager 1200 XII.
Could anyone tell me how to make the cruise control work in any gear, instead of just 5th gear (O/D)
only?

Any help would be appreciated.

Unless you are on the open road you should not be using cruise. You need to pay attention to the traffic more at lower speeds. That is how angels are made!
