HOW TO: LG VX9900 enV on Cricket with All Data Features Working including Brew!!!

has anyone got the (lgdownload) nv edit to work? if so what dll did you use? I have tried a few but cant get it to work as shown. I used the 9800 dll (9900 dll would not show tabs, it would error before) and got it to open tabs but the MIP tab was completely blank when I tried to do the second step in the wap section.

I need to somehow edit the MIP tab to get my internet going, any other software suggestions if this method dont work?
 
Did you try selecting menu and 7 0's? There should be your sevice programming tab (enter mdn/min). And the wap settings (proxy addresses/proxy port =>8080/user password/homepage).

I remeraber working on that stuff. That was as far as I got was recieving.

Can you tell me, or point me to how they are setting up the w's?
 
I'm going nuts. I have all the setting correct on my env but I am unable to get pix messages or send them. I had previously done a voyager with everything working. Is this a problem that could be on Crickets end? any ideas?

yeah I did that but it neeRAB deeper programming like in the tutorial(nv edit), cant set the MIP settings through phone service menu. actually on my lx9900 its (##program9900 +send, hen 000000) Thanks for the advice though. :), i did find out the program will run on my other computer(32bit) but not my main (64bit) i guess it neeRAB windows 7 64 bit drivers to work properly....I cant believe im the only one with this problem though.
 
Go to your control panel and then "phone and modem" and delete all of the ports that are in the modem tab.

Restart your machine and reconnect your phone. That usually does the trick for me if I have flashed quite a few phones...
 
I've gotten my ENV working with cricket voice just fine, but when I try and go further, the NV Edit window has a blue background and refuses to let me edit anything. I'm using LG Download 1.6.

Any idea what could be causing this?

 
If you know how to do this please send me a Direct Email at [email protected] & i can sent you pics to show you what i have done already. The phone should be fully flashed but is not working & dont understand why.

not to be a jerk but this is a vx9900 post, probably if you search for your phone you will get better results. Its no wonder this thread has gone off track with all the threadjacking it has... please stay on topic with the env vx9900 thanks
 
Cool thanks for the help. I have had them do it a couple times but I don't think that they actually do it. Cricket is not the best company that's for sure. I'll post when it's working so that it's documented.

i am using dll version 0.1.46.0 vx9900dll. i am using a vx9900. in the "wap tab" password i am all good. it is the "data tab" where the problems arise. when i write a value to "SIP PASSWORD" or "AN PASSWORD" Lg downloader says successful write, but when i go to read it, both of those values dissappear. thus i receive and error message telling me to call 611 and enable wireless services, which i am positive i have currently. i have manually entered the values you can find in "wap tab" that is not the issue. also QPST does not allow me to successfully write these two values either. its so strange all other values are no problem but the SIP PASSWORD and the AN PASSWORD are killing me. I no longer have a good copy of QXDM so i can not check its effectiveness. Does someone out there possibly have a metropcs specific "paramtable1.fil"? maybe this will help? I totally understand changing that 00 value to 20. I really cannot understand what is going on. I am close to just trying this metro wap on a verizon phone thing on a samsung. any help super appreciated. Thanks
