To clarify further, these are three famous paso finos.

smaller than you're average horse you'd see most places, but still a hell of a lot more substantial than a deer.

As for a new car... I'm hoofing it for now. I was incredibly stupid, and didn't have my car insured, so I'm pretty much S.O.L.
For a smart person, I can do some really dumb shit sometimes... Or more like I can neglect to do some commonsensical things. Other than a very minimal state instituted insurance that only covers injury, insurance is not mandatory in PR. I hit a rough patch financially a while back, and let my insurance expire, and then never did anything about getting it reinstated. So I'm pretty much walking around in a constant state of  right now.

Yes. You may all now comment on what an idiot I am.

If I stop drinking for a while, I should be able to save up several thousand dollars in a matter of months. I think I'm going to save up for a used jeep. It's much more suitable for beaching and exploring the overgrown parts of this island anyway, and I know several WTFers swear by them. Having a little sporty car was a hell of a lot of fun while it lasted, but somehow I always knew it was going to end in disaster. In the meantime, there's an old beat up monster of a pickup truck parked at my house that I can use, but it needs a bit of work before I can rely on it as my main mode of transportation, so it will be at least a week or two before I can get that done.

And 53V3N, No, I didn't have the horse heads mounted on the wall in my den. One of them had a big chunk missing out of it's face, so not suitable for mounting.

It's funny living on a small island. I've heard several interesting rumors about my wreck. I've heard that one of the horses was decapitated(which is false) , and someone told me they heard I was dead(also false... I think).

Typically from what I've seen, domestic horses tend to have long flowing groomed manes, while the lifestyle of wild horses leaves them short and stiff. If that helps in identification at all, or sparks your memory in any way.

wow man thats crazy same thing happened to my friennd except swap out the horses for a guard rail.....but wow your lucky you only got that scratch.

Judging by the aroma of the horse chunks on, in, and around my car, I don't think I would have wanted to eat these horses no matter how tender they were.
