How to Jailbreak Your iPhone [3.1.2, 3.1.3] Using Spirit

Hi friends.
I had an Iphone 3G firm 3.1.2 and BB 05.11.07
I jailbreak it with success with Spirit, and after i installed
Ultrasn0w ,and unlocked it by altrasn0w, but after that,
phone accepts every sim card but can't have service.
Even with original sim card i dont have network service...
What can i do?

there is one thing that i want to ask. that is my friend bought his phone from norway and it was unlocked in india.
carrier is vodafone (norway). so all i want to ask is:

Will an INDIAN VODAFONE sim be able to do the job? or do i need the NORWAY VODAFONE SIM?
 
Spirit is based on a userland bug. Apple will fix this soon by releasing a new firmware. When the new firmware is released (let's say it's named 3.1.4), then you can only install that version when doing a restore in iTunes. Afterwards Spirit won't work anymore and you are lost again without a jailbreak. If you used the AutoSHSH tool (from the site ih8tesn0w I think) or the umbrella tool, you can now save Apple's certificate for your iPhone for firmware version 3.1.3, so that you later can downgrade again (with some tricks). If you can downgrade the firmware from 3.1.4 to 3.1.3, you can let Spirit run again. After 3.1.4 (or whatever it's names) comes out, Apple doesn't issue certificates for lower versions anymore, so you won't be able to get that certificate (shsh file) anymore, even if you do not install 3.1.4. So the only safe way is to make this shsh backup now. In Cydia you can see what versions of the shsh file is on Saurik/Cydia server backuped (currently out of order due to high traffic).

I'll like to KNOW if spirit really jailbreak iphone 3gs 3.1.3 baseband 5.12...........i tried it doesn't work for me it gives me error message pls any loyal member of the forum can help me on jailbreak of 3gs 3.1.3 5.12 b............thanks

i have my iphone 3GS new boot on 3.1.2 05.11.07 Jailbreaked and unlock it by BlackRa1n !

Can i use Spirit for ultimate Jailbreak ? ( cause if i restart my iphone or Baterrie empty, the iphone will be on recovery mode and must re-Jailbreak it )

Should i give it a try with spirit or no cause i saw other posts said that they have tried it and now stuck at recovery mode !!!

but my phone was jailbroken by Blackra1n, how could i use this software to jailbreak it again to avoid "connect itune (recovery mode)"???plzzz
