How to install second battery for car audio?

This is going to be my first time. I have TWO AMPS have a PDx 1.1000 1250 watts and pdx 4.100 at 517 rms. I also have a kinetik HC1400 with a 93 amp alt with 8 gauge stock wiring. SOOn to get the HC800 for my 2nd bat.

My lights dim with hard hitting bass.

**Question is**: Should I connect the second battery to just the mono amp or both?

I was thinking of leaving the 4 channel amp to the main bat and get the mono amp wire to the 2nd bat with additional cable, so I dont have to rewire everything.

Thanks in advance!!!
All my amps connect at 4 gauge

Why are you adding a second battery to weak electrical system? All that is going to do is put a huge added strain on your electrical system and kill your alternator. Putting a second battery in your car is not going to stop your lights from dimming. You need to do the big 3 upgrade on your car right now. You will need 10 - 15 feet of 0 or 2 gauge power wire for this.
1. Battery Negative Post to graound chassis
2. Battery Positive Post to alternator
3. Engine Block strap to ground chassis
If then you still have light dimming then you will need to upgrade your alternator to a High Output Alternator. At which point you can install a second battery to your car, because the alternator you have right now is not able to handle a second battery at all. Please listen to what I have told you, I do not want to see someone screwing up their car because of a audio system. I did the big 3 to my car and the lights no longer dim what so ever. If you choose not to listen to me then do not email me when your alternator dies.

You really should have the whole system in series to make aeverything work off each other. You may need to bridge the two batteries to the alternator, with a relay and splitterz to each amp. Some guys would even say you need a computer regulator to maintain equal power to the entire system.
