how to install a 12v horn on my truck?

i got this horn, it consists of 1 wire....where would i put the wire? the black or red on the battery?

also, would i need a ground wire also? where do i put that?

it also has a lever so i can adjust the volume..since it has a lever, can i put the wire to the battery? red or black one?
 
if it has a metal bracket or the horn it self is metal then you shouldn't need a ground wire. Next to hook it up you need to connect the one wire to the horn circuit, because if you take the one wire and hook it to the battery then the horn will just keep going off. hopefully that helps, and also for future reference red = positive and black = negative
