how to hide a radar detector?

i just got the escort passport 8500 X50 and i drive a 06 infiniti G35 coupe whats the best way to hide it from cops without hard wiring it?

Yes its not illegal to detect radar the aspect thats illegal is shileding yourself from it, some radar detectors have radar blockers in them so a cop cannot get a speed on your car, and now some cops even have radar blocker detectors which they have made even more blockers for.
Your allowed to detect legally
just not allowed to stealth yourself
 
I mount it high, above the rear view mirror. The power cord can be run around the edge of the windscreen. You may need an extention for the power cord to make it long enough.
 
not true. in some states it is illegal like new york, california, flordia, posibly texas. The best was is to put it as low as you can on your dash and try to get something to put over it but dont cover up the detector. or put it in a low bottom corner, its one of the least places to look. its alot better than having it in the middle of your windshield. lol. hope i could help
 
Why would you hide it, it's not illegal. They can't say anything about it. You didn't break any law by having it.
