How to fix rear view mirror from rattling excessively from bass ?

dont take it off! you can get a ticket. i have the same problem, when im driving, i just rise the rearview mirror upward, that way the bass cant knock it downward so soon, but it still does sometimes. lower your bass quality and if you dont wanna do that, just deal with it because i really dont think there is a solution for this problem.
 
get a new one, duct tape, or take it off... haha i honestly dont kno how to help you, i have the same subs and i had the same problem i used duct tape, and alot of it to like hold it in place. idk it looks like s**t but i dont really care
 
I have a 2000 Chevy Impala with 2 alpine type r 12's. When they hit the quality of the music is diminished by the rattling of the rear-view mirror. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue. Thanks for any information.
thanks for the thoughts, ima try the epoxy and see what happens
 
you could cover the connection of the mirror to the windshield in epoxy, let it fully dry and it should help alot.
