I am a straight-A student, but I am finding myself procrastinating and then having to stay up all night to make up for it. Therefore, my 10 hours of sleep has gone down to 7 hours of sleep, and for me, that is not enough, because I continually lose concentration after 1st period. For example, I had three surprise days off of school just last week, and I planned to work on my project that is due in 2 weeks. But then, I spent all three days wasting time on youtube, and on the third night, I get pissed at myself for wasting all that precious time and tried to make up for it by pulling an all nighter. The next day, I got sick and couldn't go to school. What I thought on the first day was that I'll relax during the morning and work in the afternoon, but when afternoon came along, I told myself that the project was simple and that i could work on it after dinner. After dinner, I again thought that I had two more days and that was more than enough, so I put it off even more. This cycle continued. I tried schedules, and staying disciplined but I've become too flexible (I keep on trying to change my schedule to fit my procrastination- eg. 4:30 pm is time for project, BUT since I have three days off, just for today, 4:30 pm could be time for youtube). Any ideas on how to break this cycle? I know I'm going to become crazy if I keep on losing unnecessary hours of sleep. Thanks! P.S. You see how bad of a procrastinator I am since I spent 30 minutes of my time writing up this question.
