I don't know much about car audio but here's what I got... Four Pioneer 5x7s running off a 500 watt 4 channel amp, two Kicker 1" tweeters running off of I don't know what, two Kicker 12" CVR subs running off of a 1500 watt amp and a Sony Xplod headunit. The 5x7s are halfway blown so I had to change the setting on the amp so they only play highs, otherwise they sound like crap.
I want to add two 6 1/2's or 6x9s in the front doors. Do I need an extra amplifier for these or can I just run them off the headunit or how do I hook them up? I was also thinking about having the two 5x7s in the back just run off the head unit and put the new 6" on the amp I already have along with the 5x7s in the front. Any advice on how to add my new speakers is appreciated. Thanks.
