The point is that we're saying it has nothing to do with drugs, but everything to do with getting discharged. What level of discharge are you being awarded? If you recieve anything other than Honorable or Medical then there must be supporting documentation. If this is a 'drug' issue, then you will either be receiving an OTH or BCD, depending on what the JAG decides and what punishments you get prior to discharge. Since you're not even going through the JAG, your command cannot discharge you on their own authority. That approval comes from the Air Force's equivalent of a Marine or Army Division HQ.
What we are saying is that there's more to this story than what you're telling, whether you know it or not.
Also, you CANNOT be denied a court marstial if you demand one. Just be aware that most court martial convictions are equivalent to felonies and can carry over into your civilian life. That means they can affect your ability to vote, carry a firearm, collect VA Benefits...yadda yadda. So while we're not TELLING you to ask for a court martial, those of us with experience are saying that something doesn't sound right.
