How should I set the frequency and gain on my Kicker zx1500.1 for 2 12" L7's?

I have 2 12" L7's in a Kicker Ported Box and a Kicker zx1500.1 amp. I do not want to hurt my subs but I want the most out of it. I need to know what to put as the frequency and gain on the amp. It is also Dual 4 ohm subs wired parrallel to 2 ohm.

The gain is set in relation to the signal strength of your head unit.
With the amp set to low level the voltage range of the gain is from 1/8v to 5v.
At high level it's 1/4v to 10v.
Most HU's are in the 2-4v range so most likely you'd use the low range setting. 5v would be fully counter clockwise, 1/4v would be fully clockwise so logically it should be in the 9 to 12 o'clock range.

The crossover is a little more subjective. Depending on the enclosure type and your usual listening choices it can vary a little bit, but typically the 70-100hz range is what will sound best.
