I was born in eastern europe and when I was 3, my family and I moved here to the US because of a war outbreak (my mom, sister, and brother). My siblings are 13 years older than I am, so they were about 16 when they came here. They have held on the culture in europe, especially my mom. I feel like an outcast in my family because I've lived in america almost my entire life and therefore have grown up in a different type of culture. Sometimes I don't see eye-to-eye with them on certain things and it's difficult to get along with them. How do I handle the culture they all grew up with while staying true to myself and what I've grown up with?
