How should i go about buying a new kawasaki ninja 250r?

I want to purchase a brand new Kawasaki Ninja 250r 09 this month, I'm 17 years old & am currently looking for a job, but need a vehicle. How should I go about talking to my parents about helping me purchase this bike? any ideas are welcome, thanks.
 
My highest recommendation: take and complete the MSF basic rider course (most locations will let you use one of their bikes for little to no cost). At least show your parents you have the skills and knowledge to ride the bike.
