How often do you go to the cinema?

On average probably once a month, but I will have been 3 times by the end of this month, Sherlock Holmes, Avatar and It's Complicated (not my choice!lol)
 
DepenRAB if there's anything on at the cinema that I wanna see. Not very often though. If I miss it at the cinema I'll get the dvd. Though I love being in the cinema :) Missed New Moon because I was still reading the book. :o
 
Just looked at last years list, I went 98 times.

So far this year I have been 84 times. I reckon I might just beat 98 this year, all depenRAB on what is coming out and being shown at my local cinema.
 
I bet you've seen just about every English-language film released this year! Same with 2009.

I only went 8 times last year. I saw State Of Play, The Proposal, Toy Story 3D, Zombieland, Michael Jackson's This Is It, Avatar, Four Christmases (special re-release for seniors 60+ but I got in) and Sherlock Holmes.

I also saw The Hurt Locker this year, but that was originally released in '09 so I don't know if it counts or not.

I tried to get in to see The Taking Of Pelham 123 and Couples Retreat last year but I was ritually humiliated by the cinema staff both times.
 
if i could afford it, i'd go two or three times a week at least.

Been 16 times this year in total. Many, many years ago I did 5 films in one day - started at 12midday and eventually emerged at 1:15am ..

Although i didn't plan it very well as the last film was one i wasn't really bothered about - i just added it to make the 5, so invariably i slept through most of it.

I did it again the following year but worked out the schedule better so the last two films were ones I really wanted to see and I stayed awake for all of it.

Two of the most enjoyable afternoons i've ever spent ..

This is a surprising read, though with the cost of the cinema these days i guess it's not that much of a shock that people don't go to the cinema that often.

I used to go once maybe twice a month. It depenRAB really. I went last week and the time before that was back in July, so it's a bit sporadic lately.

I do love going though. Apart from the time i was dragged to see the movie Twilight and almost lost my hearing from all the tweenagers screaming their heaRAB off. That's one of my biggest movie regrets. Lost hours of my life that day. :(
 
Snap. I go twice a week also and use my Unlimited Cineworld card but i won't use my card just to watch every single film that comes out. Some people do, but i wouldn't. I only see something that really interests me i.e actor, director or story. I wouldn't watch crap like Percy Jackson or Valentine's Day for example.

But hey, each to their own! :p
 
I usualy go about once every couple of months. I used to go quite a bit more a few years a go, to the point that we started to run out of decent films to watch, which meant we ended up watching some rubbish. I think I was one of the few people who went to see Churchill: The Hollywood Years! I've never seen so many people walk out during a film before :)
 
Twice a week normally thanks to my Unlimited Card, sometimes if I'm bored and it's a horrible day I will go see 2 or 3 films in a row.

Good thing about the Unlimited Card is sometimes you end up seeing a great film you wouldn't have normally gone to see. Also if the film is poor you don't feel like you've wasted your money.

Tend to wait a few weeks after a film has come out before going so it's quieter and most the annoying neRAB (chavs ;)) have moved onto the next latest film.
 
there has been a lot of rubbish movies over the last year.

It's very dear to go to the cinema. I don't go for months and then go a few nights in a row. In the last 2 weeks I've been the cinema 6 times (Up in the Air, Invictus, Edge of Darkness, Brothers, It's Complicated and Leap Year), before that the last movie I went to see was New Moon, last November.
 
This week I am going to see Robin Hood that I didn't manage to see last week, other then that it's a crap week for new films at my local cineworld. Next week looks a bit more interesting .
 
I'm pretty particular but if I like a film I'll watch it more than once....Saw The Hangover 15 times last year.....:D

Haven't been this weekend because nothing interests me this week....we've still got crap like Percy Jackson and Valentines day showing for the fourth week in a row. On the other hand if a film is really good you can bet my local cineworld will only have it on for a week....:p :D
