Ok so my side of the car (driver's side), i can't hear the radio. the radio only works on the right side of the car (passenger's side). Not sure how that happened! How much will it cost to get it fixed?
I drive a sunfire, and yeah can you believe it!? a sunfire with PROBLEMS?!? Wow that's a first....

Speakers do wear out. They are replaceable. You can get a stock replacement from the dealer and it might be a little pricey. You can get speakers from many stores like RadioShack, Best Buy, KMart. You can spend a fortune or you can spend $10- you still only get what the radio can give and no more. Size is important if you want it to go back where the old one was. You might get better sounding speakers from a store than the stock dealer product.

If you want to be sure the speaker is what is bad, and not the radio- they can blow one side- put a speaker you know is good, like the one that still plays, on the quiet side and see if it plays there.

You, or a friend who knows how to do the job can fix this for the cost of speakers-you might spend $25-$50. At a shop, you might be charged labor about $75. Talk to your friend.
