I'm 20 years old and have a credit score a little above 700. I'm hoping this would be able to go on my own credit instead of having a co-signer. MSRP for the bike as of right now is $3,999, however I live in Hawaii so I'd assume there to be some kind of import fees as well. I was hoping to finance (still debating if I should finance through the dealership or the bank; advice would be wonderful) as well as putting a down payment, but I'm not sure as to how much to save up. Should $1000 down payment be good enough? I've heard putting at least 20-30% of the retail price should be fine. Also, how much do the initial fees amount to (documents, registration, etc.), more specifically in the state of Hawaii? And are there any hidden fees I should be aware of?
