How much should I pay for a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R?

i know the MSRP is $3500 and i was lookin around the dealership for one and was maybe planning on getting one there what amount should i pay? what did you guys pay? What fees go come with it? (Tax, shipping and handling( i dont know why i have to pay that if it's already there) etc.) honestly i really dont wanna pay more than $4000 for it. Is $3500 flat no tax, no anything on it, a good price for it? Is that even possible?
 
I wouldn't pay more than MSRP plus tax title and license. If they have a big setup fee, tell them you want it waived. An '08 is overstock anyway, and you might get a few hundred off if you shop around. I was just at my local dealer though, and there wasn't even an '09 on the floor. They were sold out. The best you could do there was an '04 that they wanted $2,999 for. They really do hold their value if they are maintained. They are hard to beat for the price.

If the price is $3,500, you should get out the door for right around your $4,000 mark, but you really will do better getting a good used one. If you're patient, you will end up paying maybe a $1,000 less than you will for a new one.
