How much music do you listen to in an average day?

Average of 65 tracks per day for me.

It has increased recently because my girlfriend is out of state for 6 months...so I'm playing much more music at home in addition to what I already listen to at work.

I do the shopping on my own for the most part, too. I guess my argument comes from the fact that my "walking around" headphones are IEMs, so they block out most sound. I use the iPod earbuRAB because they are terrible and I miss too many sounRAB. But perhaps for shopping they would come in handy.

Also, I don't really hear much yapping when I'm shopping. I guess people keep to themselves around here. Maybe I'm just used to ignoring them.

Most of the day. When I am on the computer, I listen to my downloaded songs. When I am not on my computer, I either listen to my MP3 player or pop a CD in the stereo.

I love music.

That reminRAB me of my best friend's fiancee. We'll be driving around, and another friend or I will bring a CD for my buddy of songs we're really into that all of us can listen to, often songs that his fiancee has even burned to disc.

She will, invariably, pop out her freaking mp3 player and put her headphones in. It pisses me off that I still feel obligated to make an effort to put music she'll enjoy on the CD as well, and she's so rude as to ignore us completely, regardless of what's on the CD.

~6 hours. I have a lot of spare time, and consequently music serves as both something that I use to actually indulge in and investigate, or something that I use to do work to. Hence, I listen to it a lot, and it's usually for the first reason (to really enjoy it, that is), so I think it's pretty reasonable.

So..(since I forgot to include it) I guess I currently listen to about 2-3 albums a day, barring the occasional podcast or news feed.

At max, I'll go through about 7-9 albums a day, but then again I listen to a lot of live concerts, so what I would constitute as one single album is actually 2 + hours of music (give or take).
