How many watts should the amp be for two 12'' Kicker subwoofers?

If i have 2 12'' kicker subwoofers, how many watts should the amp i buy have?

I want something that "bumps" good and sounds good

You have to tell us what kind! Kicker makes a wide variety of subs with vastly different power handling specs. What model are they? Some kicker subs are made to handle 200 watts, some are made to handle over 1000! We need more info to answer the question...
