How hard is it to install a remote start kit on a 06 denali?

CAn a mechanic do it also or does it have to be someone from an electronics place. I ve seen them sold at like Autozone for like under 100. Im not sure how good those are either. I called a local electronics place here and it will be over 400 for one installed plus parts!
