how does labor usually start if you get alot of practice contractions in the

last few weeks? if you get alot of braxton hicks/practice contractions in the last few weeks of pregnancy... does labor usually start with what feel like practice contractions?? but they get stronger over a matter of hours?
or will it start with period type pains and back pains?
