How do you keep your dignity after a job loss? I have a few days left of

work, and it's awkward? My supervisor doesn't really talk to me anymore. This job was a paid internship and I guess media relations, writing, and assisting my boss with business help is not as important. I was told that I am being let go because very experience full-time people who are like 40 years older than me have "filled my position."

I was hired as an intern, I don't understand. The other interns will not be let go, there is one that works on accounting, and one works on computers. So is this a sign that what I'm studying in college isn't useful in real life? I have completed all projects. My supervisor told my internship director that "the position has been filled." That's all.

I have a few days left of work, all the employees now know that I'm being let go. It's awkward. I still talk to everybody, but one of the interns COMPLAINS ALL DAY about boyfriend issues & family stuff, but she doesn't see that she's lucky, because I have no family & now I have no job and I never complain. My supervisor doesn't acknowledge me and some of the employees are acting as if I'm already gone. I feel sad.
