How do you feel about immigrants coming into your country and culture?

I don't have any problem; it's call an exchange of culture which is good as we are more diversifying and all. But what bothers me is illegal immigrants who cause chaos and crimes. I don't mind illegal immigrants who illegally come to my country to seek for protection or to seek for money in a good way.

that's why our country is going down the drain, because of mexicans
but every other country is good though. cause there good workers

if they wish to come here, it must be something in our culture that draws them. so as long as they wish to adopt our culture, even while not letting go of theirs, as long as they don't try to make me learn their language 1000miles from any foriegn border and celbrate their hilodays and traditions, and they do it legally, i' mall good w/.it.

I love the diversity of the USA and welcome immigrants but I do wish they would be legal, pay taxes, and learn the common language of my country. I am in the medical/social service industry and find in disturbing that I can't get a job unless I am bi-lingual in spanish. If I were to immigrate to another country I would learn my new countries language and not expect everyone to learn mine to accommodate me. I think that is my biggest complaint. America was established by people wanting a better life and came here speaking German, Italian, Russian, Norwegian....etc..and learned english. Why is it that lots of people from Mexico feel they can make it any different?

Since at one point my own ancestors were immigrants to this country, I feel sympathetic toward the people who had to give up almost everything (assuming they had anything) in order to try for a better life. Welcome aboard!

Of course, with crime and prejudice running rampant here, I'm not sure you picked the best place to try and start over. If you're not bringing crime, drugs, or terrorism, then you are welcome in my eyes. Come on over and say "Hi" sometime. We might both make a new friend!
