How do you download ringtones to your computer so you can put them on your cell phone?

my boyfriend isnt able to download ringtones to his phone from his phone. the only way is to bluetooth them from the computer but i dont know how to do that. a friend of his done it before for him but he cant remember how. thanks
i know how to customize ringtones and download them to your phone i need to know how to download them to my computer so i can bluetooth them to my boyfriends phone.
