Hi guys, I just revived my 20 farad capacitor and I'm wondering how to charge it exactly. Ive been watching youtube videos and reading forums but nothing has really got it to click in my head. O and they gave me a flimsy resistor but honestly if it fell on the floor it would probably break, could i use my volt meter instead to connect the power from the battery to the capacitor?
They do but if you just connect the caps there will be a large spark, and its really not good for the capacitor, it should be charged 1st always
