How do I take off the AP-IV protection circuitry on a ppi amp?

I have a Precision Power amp hooked up to 2 Kicker L5's and it sounds good but I know there is a way to undo the protection circuit and I can't find how anywhere online. Please help with either a suggested website or instructions. Thank you
