sorry it's not the best picture but It's all I have to work with.
I have a bit of an idea. The lining will be easy, I need the most help with the 3 chiffon layers.
I see no side seams in them anywhere (maybe they're just not visible in the picture though)
my main concern is in keeping the femenine shape, i am worried that it will turn out frumpy or unshapely. The bride to be is around a size 12 or 14 but she has a little bit of a tummy so i dont want to end up exaggerating this.
I am most worried about the V shape in the bust, how will I make it not bend out of shape and pull apart when she wears it. she has asked for crossover spaghetti straps, will that be enough to hold its shape?
I do have an adjustable dress makers mannequin to work with so that will be a huge help but
If anyone knows of an easily accessible sewing pattern (simplicity, mccalls, butterick etc) that is anything at all like this it would be a great help.
