how do i lower the ohms on a sub.?

i have( 2) 2ohm dvc subs and want to lower them to a 1ohm load each.the amp is 1ohm stable.
 
If the coils are 2 ohms each, wire them in parallel for a 1 ohm load (each sub). If the coils are 4 ohms each, wire all 4 coils (2 from each sub) in parallel for a 1 ohm load.
 
If you are using 2 amps or a 2 channel amp you can do this. Just wire the coils in parallel.

If you are running both subs on one channel, you are limited to either .5, 2. or 8 ohms. In your case the best option would be 2 ohms. Wire the coil of each sub in parallel and the subs in series.
