How do I know what amp to get for the subs i'm gonna buy?

i also don't know how to configure up the voltage and stuff.
 
you can do alot of things

you can get a 500 watt 1 channel amp for each sub you have
(which i reccomend)

or you can get a 1000 watt 2 channel amp ( if you are getting 2 subs)

or a 1500 watt 3 channel amp ( if you are getting 3 subs)
