I closed an account with Verizon Wireless, and they sent me a bill that was 3 times the amount I owed them. So I went to the actual store to clear it up, and while doing so I recorded the conversation with the rep (in the store), and the rep she had me talk to on the phone. The amount was agreed and I request for the rep to send me that agreed balance via email and I will pay it. Needless to say she didn't, and all of a sudden this was sent to collection for the amount that was 3 times the amount owed. Now it's on my credit, and I want to know if the evidence I have (recorded conversation) is enough to sue Verizon as well as dispute the report they made on my credit? This really has caused a lot of frustration...
