i went to rockfordfosgate.com and got this formula:
Formula for Calculating a Vent
1.463 x 107 x r2
Lv = -1.463r
fb2 x 1728 x Vb
Vb = volume of box in cubic feet
r2 = radius of port
fb = desired tuning frequency of enclosure
Lv = length of vent in inches
but what i want to know is how do i calculate the length and height and size of the opening for a built in slot port. is there a formula for that or something? i want the slot to be properly tuned in at 30-35Hz so how do i go about doing this?
