how do family values vary in different cultures?

like in my family, we have to put our arms together nd bow down to greet our family members to let them kno that we respect them!!
idk if thats a family value....

but ya i was just wondering if family values are different in other cultures?
 
Family values are different in other cultures. From my own experience, in my culture the children care for their parents until they die, we celebrate certain holidays with certain types of food, we are very close to one another. I'm sure other cultures are the same, though.
 
Yes theyre different, they use different words to call an older person like in spanish they say "usted" and for young people just "Tú"... in english we just use You for everyone
