Shure Microphones were manufactured in Chicago and later Mexico. The ones made in the city it originated from are drastically different than the cheaper made mexican mics. I collect vintage harmonica microphones and elements made in the 40's and 50's absolutely destroy any modern day mexican made elements....Fender amplifiers were made in the US before CBS bought them out in the late 60's early 70's. The US made are the most coveted and sought after amplifiers in the world today. WHere it's made makes a huge difference IMO. if it's cheaper it will not be better.
