...about the culture? When I was in Turkey, I have visited a lot different places from the Aegean Coast, all the way to the Eastern parts. All of the different cities and towns had their own unique and interesting places to visit, sights to see. I learned that it is a land with a huge history behind it even before the Ottoman’s. But one thing that I realized during the time I was in Turkey is that people are very helpful and live in a culture that is very welcoming visitors.
While traveling around, I felt comfortable and very welcomed to all of the places where I have been to. Even in cities like Istanbul, where it is very larger and people are living there own life with the stress of putting food on the table, people were still very respectful and open to other societies. I have also noticed that this wasn’t the case for just tourists, but the younger generation was also very respectful and looking out for the elderly. I was wondering if this is just from my experience, or did most people who have visited Turkey feel the same way?
