How come Nigerian women rarely marry outside their race or culture?

I am an American born in the U.S. My mother is nigerian (igbo) and my father is american (English, Italian). I rarely see anyone like my parents. I always see Nigerian men marry outside their culture to West Indian women, Black American, White American women, or British. Yet I never see a Nigerian woman married to even a black American man, Jamaican man, or anyone other than Nigerian. Why is that?? Seems unfair.

because our mummies and aunties warn us not to bring a white man home lol. most nigerian girls are so respectful of their elders that they do not go against this. i reckon i will marry a black man, but he doesnt have to be nigerian.

Most Nigerian women are probably most compatible with Nigerian men. It isn't that they aren't trying to attract men of other groups, it's that the Nigerian men have more in common with them than men of other ethnicities and races.

probably because they want to maintain there culture some Nigerians intermarry but not very often some Nigerians have married other Africans Europeans Asians and Americans and even British

I do agree that more Nigerian men are married to nonNigerian women than the reverse. However, I should mention that while growing up in Nigeria, I had friends whose mothers were Nigerian and whose dads were English/British. I think thats the most common interracial combination you'd find Nigerian women in .... with white British/English men. My aunt is also married to an Irish Briton guy. My mum and dad are from two distinct Nigerian tribes..... I believe they would never have a problem with me dating interracially or having a preference to.
As for me, I prefer to date white guys. Although Im seeing and dating white American men right now, that will change as soon as I find myself in Europe with all sorts of hot white men with hot accents lol.
