You do realize that unions in the US were, and still are, the backbone of the middle class. Without unions creating better working conditions, better pay, better benefits for it's workers the middle class in the US would not have developed or survived. Go ahead and do away with the unions but be prepared to be at the mercy of corporations. Be ready to accepted substandard pay, substandard working conditions, substandard benefits. Without the middle class you'll have the rich and the working poor. Have fun.
Ask yourself this. Does a Toyota made at a plant in the US cost less than a Toyota made in a plant in Japan? No it doesn't so who benefits from shipping auto manufacturing jobs outside of the US at lower labor costs? The consumer or the companies?
