i have the sony xplod stereo for ipod and it pushes my 4 4" infinity reference speakers and i have a rockford fosgate punch2 sub with the little rockford amp i think its 250 watts. anyways on the stereo i have bass output set to -10 (the lowest) and subwoofer db set to -10 also. and yet the subwoofer is STILL too loud! it totally drowns out my speakers on songs with lots of bass and if i turn the stereo up to where the speakers are playing above speaking level the sub is already so high that my windows are rattling and its uncomfortable and if i try to turn it up farther so that the speakers are semi loud the sub just cuts out
