How can I join a military branch discretely?

I realize that I have no ambition or discipline. I am a college student and I have received failing grades in a few of my classes. Not only have I failed myself, I have failed my parents who give me not only the necessary accommodations such as shelter and food, but also pay the interest to my school loan. I always half ass everything. I'm like a dud firework, I start aglow only to fizzle out halfway. See my parents disapprove of war and I couldn't stand to tell them of my potential death. But I feel that in a no fail environment such as war i'll be forced to change. Because I can't change on my own, I have tried and failed too many times on that note. Thank you.

its easy to join and not have anyone know. your old enough to not need your parents consent. and as far as i know, your parents shouldnt get anything in the mail about you joining unless you want them to. i honestly think your parents will be proud. although they are against the war they will get over you joining. my parents didnt like the idea at first either. but it could take you a week from the day you start talking to a recruiter to the day you leave for basic, just make sure your getting what you want and not what they say is good. and research every branch. go ahead and email me any timeif you have any questions about the military, i will tell you the 100% truth from my perspective.

The military doesn't take undisciplined people and make them disciplined. They enhance an already disciplined and honorable character. You would be looking for the wrong thing out of military service.
