I've been around second hand smoke literally all my life, and I was wondering if there was anyway to counteract the effects. The reason I'm asking, is because I'm 14, and I'm about to go into high school. I need to be fit for PE, (I'm 30 lbs. overweight) but every time I try to go for a run, I have to stop because I don't get enough oxygen when I'm running. So can anyone recommend a way I can fix my lungs, or at least gain more stamina? This would really help me get fit over summer.
