How can i hook my gps to my flip-out dvd player in my car?

Im thinking about buying a gps navigator and i was wondering if and how i could hook it to my flip-out dvd player?
 
you must first find out if your dvd player is compatible with a gps. i would advise chatting with a crutchfield advisor. they will know alot about this information.
